Misty Becwar, ARNP, is a Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She is passionate about cosmetics, health, and wellness. Misty earned her nursing master’s at the University of Cincinnati. Prior to opening The Skin Lounge, She worked in the ICU as a new graduate and was a nationally certified labor and delivery RN at the Birthcare Center at Unity Point in Cedar Rapids for 11 years.

I initially scheduled an appointment with another provider and had a very frustrating experience. A friend of mine had been to Misty before, and she recommended that I contact her. I’m very happy I did. Misty is incredibly knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable. My first appointment, we did a syringe of filler. About a month later, we did a little more and Dysport in my forehead. I am so happy with my results. Honestly, I feel like a different woman, it was definitely a confidence booster. I still find myself looking in the mirror admiring her work.
